Lake Norman Humane offers a community pet food pantry on most Friday’s from 3pm-6pm. It is our desire to help keep pets in their home by helping with some of the cost of pet food. All of the food for our pet food pantry is donated by the community. Recipients must be an Iredell County resident and provide a drivers license or legal form of identification. The quantity of food given is limited and per household, not per animal or person, while supplies last. Other restrictions apply.

Join us for a glamorous evening of cocktails, dinner, casino games, auctions, raffles, and more, all to raise money for the life-saving work of Lake Norman Humane. This year’s theme is Casino Royale, so dress to impress in luxurious velvet and sparkly sequins. Sponsorship opportunities and tickets available soon.

Lake Norman Humane will be closing at 3pm today so that we can prepare for our Casino Royale fundraiser this evening. We will reopen Saturday, 3/22 from noon until 4pm. (Tours end at 3:30.)

This St. Patrick’s Day, the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile, one of the most recognizable and beloved vehicles in American pop culture, will make a special stop at St. Patrick Episcopal Church. While supplies last, attendees can enjoy free Oscar Mayer hot dogs. Lake Norman Humane will be onsite to participate in the community fun and to provide information on how to foster, adopt, volunteer and support their efforts.

First hitting the road in 1936, the Oscar Mayer Wienermobile has been a symbol of joy, community, and classic American fun for nearly 90 years. From parades to festivals, the Wienermobile has participated in events that generations of Americans have enjoyed with its whimsical design and nostalgic charm.

Visitors to the open-air food court located at St. Patrick’s Episcopal Church will have the rare opportunity to see this legendary vehicle up close, take photos, and experience a piece of living history - and learn more about the lifesaving work of Lake Norman Humane!

Lake Norman Humane will be joining the Great Toy Convoy to take toys up to the children of Burnsville, NC who were affected by the devastating flooding. Toys may be dropped off in the the lobby of Lake Norman Humane thru Friday, December 13, during business hours.
