CURRENT POSITIONS

Lake Norman Humane is seeking dynamic individuals with a passion for animal welfare to join our mission in helping animals and the people that love them! This is a full-time position with potential to grow with the organization. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Providing daily care, cleaning, feeding, and exercise for the animals in our care;

• Monitoring animals for changes in health and behavior

• Working closely with a dedicated team of hardworking, dedicated LKNH volunteers

• Providing excellent customer service to guests and clients

• Providing assistance and counseling to prospective adopters via phone, online and in-person at the shelter and adoption events utilizing conversation-based and judgment free methodologies.
